Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent after the recovery period ends. Deleted account data cannot be restored unless you recover the account before permanent deletion is completed.
If your SumHubs account is managed by a school, employer, or another organization, some deletion requests may need to be handled through that organization. You can still contact SumHubs support and we will help route the request.
Deletion Steps
- Open the SumHubs app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings, then open Account or Profile settings.
- Select Delete Account and review the confirmation screen.
- Confirm deletion by following the in-app instructions. You may be asked to verify your identity.
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to support@sumhubs.com from the email address connected to your account.
What Happens Next
Immediate deactivation
Your account is deactivated after you confirm deletion, and you will no longer be able to use the account normally.
Recovery period
A short recovery period may apply so accidental deletion requests can be reversed.
Permanent deletion
After the recovery period, account data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law, security, billing, or an organization that controls the data.
Data We May Retain
Some records may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, billing, audit logs, or a school or organization that controls the data.

Account Recovery
If you requested deletion by mistake, contact support as soon as possible.
- Use the email address connected to your SumHubs account.
- Include your name and the organization or hub connected to the account, if applicable.
- Ask support to cancel the deletion request before the permanent deletion process is completed.
